Ordre
l'Ecole.
Awarded to all cadets that graduate from the Ecole du Mars. This award is worth 5 points.

Ordre
Commandeur l'Ecole.
Awarded to all officers that have acted as training officers at Ecole du Mars. This award is worth 10 points.
|
Military
Medal (Medaille Militaire):
This medal is awarded to an officer of the Grand Army upon their first victory over an Allied opponent. There are no points associated with this medal of recognition. It is important that each French officer report their first Allied victory to the Commander of the Army in order to qualify for this medal.

Ordre
Confederation du Rhin:
This order is awarded to all officers that command a Confederation Regiment (non French) within ADR and have two major wins over any Allied army. Is worth 10 points. Note: Only victories after Feb. 1st 2000 will count for this award.

Military
Star:
Awarded to officers either upon their first victory in a multiplayer game or achieveing five victories over Allied officers. This award is worth 5 points.

Order
of the Iron Crown (Ordre de la Couronne de fer):
This commendation is awarded by the Commander of the Army and/or Commander in Chief to officers that have distinguished themselves through exemplary service to the Grand Army or in recognition for special achievement. This commendation is worth 5 points.

Valour
Cross (Croix de la Valeur Militaire):
Presented to officers that exhibit conspicuous galantry on the field of battle. This may be achieved through outstanding performance in a multi-player game, on recommendation by a fellow officer or achieving ten victories against Allied opponents. This medal is worth 10 points.

Grand
Triumph Cross:
This Cross is awarded to officers that have achieved vitories over officers from all four enemy armies (Anglo-Allied, Austrian, Prussian & Russian) in battles over 16 completed turns. This cross is worth 10 points. Note: Only victories after Feb. 1st 2000 will count for this award.

Granted for lifelong dedicated and noble service. It is awarded on recommendation from Corps commanders and at the discretion of the Army Commander and/or Commander in Chief, after the following requirements have been obliged. The Officer must have participated in ten battles (completed 10 battle games) and at some point helded a command post for a medium period. This medal is worth 10 points.

Order
of Napoleon.
Awarded by recommendation of Army Commanders to qualifying Officers that have continued to show self sacriffice over and above the call of duty to there respective Corps/Army. Qualify: Full General or above, Must have held a Armee/Corps or Armee HQ staff position for at least 12 months and also have 5 major victories over Allied Officers registerd. This award is worth 20 points.

Awarded to the "bravest soldier", this medal is awarded to those officers that have achieved special notoriety within their respective Corps or Army. It is awarded on recommendation from Corps commanders and at the discretion of the Army Commander and/or Commander in Chief. Each Corps commander is limited to one recommendation a month for this reward. This medal is worth 10 points. The 'legion of honour' is divided into three classes depending on the officers rank and position. 1. 'Grand Cross' : Marshals and current and former Army commanders, this class consists of a larger Cross and a silver star similar to the cross without the wreath, having rays between the angles. 2. 'Grand officers' : Generals and Corps commanders, consists of a normal size cross and a silver star. 3. 'Officers' : All others, consists only of a normal size cross with a rosette. |
| Order of Wearing. |
| It
is laid down that French subjects as well as officers in French service
shall wear their orders, decorations and medals in a certain sequence on
their left breasts, the position of priority being in the centre of the
chest. The sequence in no way affects the precedence conferred by the statutes
of certain orders upon the members thereof.
The sequence is as follows: 1. Legion of Honour*. 2. French Orders. 3. French Decorations**. 4. French Medals. 5. Foreign Orders, Decorations and Medals in the same sequence as French. *)

**) Decorations: Generally speaking, anything which is not an Order or a Medal is usually held to be a 'decoration'. |
| Awarding procedure. |
| Recommened/Automatic
awarding: Orders, Decorations and Medals are either awarded automaticly
or by recommen-
dation. Automaticly awarded awards will be issued by the Army HQ's automaticly a short periode after the requirement for the award have been obliged. Officers are expected to assist and report to the AHQ's if the above isn't being carried out within a certain duration. Awards given on recommendations will be issued at the begining of each month in the monthly reports by the Army HQ's (ADR, in the monthly dispatches) . |
| Awarding Ceremony, ADR: Awarding ceremonies will be held once a month at the AHQ, shortly after the monthly dispatch from the AHQ have been published. A honour parade will be held consisting of one selected platoon from each Corps, before the award is bestowed on the officers. An unofficial celebration will afterwards be held at Pierre's tavern, where a member of the AHQ will give the first round. |

| Foreign Medals. |
| Officers once active in foreign service (both former or current allied, neutral or enemy states) under which they have been awarded medals, orders or decorations, is granted the opportunity to wear these . Captured medals, orders and decorations may however not be worn at any times. Actions of this kind will be looked upon both as immoral as well as unfitting for an Officer in La Grande Armée and will be punished severly. |
